About the Founder

Linda Reid exhibits unusual expertise and giftedness in the area of hospitality and service. As the wife of a minister, she has always loved entertaining in her home and has learned many things over the years about what makes people feel special. Linda is very much a people person, and enjoys making everyone, including strangers, feel welcome and comfortable. Linda carries a passion to see the restoration of core values that have been lost in our modern high-tech society. She believes the tea room concept is a foundational time-honored tradition that shares those values and is an excellent vehicle toward keeping them alive and well. Simply put, First Ladies Tea Room is merely an extension of who Linda is and what she feels is important. Her hope is that all who come for tea will be steeped in the same traditional values.
